The Indian steel producer Jindal South West Steel Ltd. (JSW Steel) signed a contract with Siemens in late 2005 for a new blast furnace and for the modernizations of an existing blast furnace at its iron and steel works located in Toranagallu in the Bellary-Hospet district of Karnataka, India. The blast furnace was going to be the largest in India. To make the furnaces JSW Steel (formerly Jindal Vijayanagar Steel Ltd.), in 2006 purchased an MG 3100 ZN/s a 3250mm x 100mm plate bending machine from MG. This Month, JINDAL STEEL & POWER LIMITED has placed an order for the same model MG 3100 ZN/s for the same purpose in their new facility in the state of Orissa

DeLaval (Alfa Laval) Brasil this Month celebrates 10 years of activity and 20,000 shells produced. They purchased of MG408B 4mtx8mm plate roll in 1998 (see photo) and we are in the dealing at the moment for a supply of a 6 mt. plate roll. MG has also supplied plate rolls to Alfa Laval in Mexico and Poland.
