January ended with a visit to Las Vegas where CMF attended the annual World of Concrete Trade Show. This was a first timer for CMF and most probably something we will be doing every year.We were excited to introduce our new line of BNC rebar benders and cutters at the show. Since January 1, 2012 C Marshall Fabrication is the sole distributor of these well-made, extremely tough and durable rebar equipment.
We have currently show specials on three models - two cutters and one bender - all of them in stock and ready for delivery. The special pricing will run until February 28, 2012
Also coming in next month a brand new MH314C 4-roll, made in Italy by MG. We showed a similar machine at Fabtech 2011 in Chicago; now all of you who were too late for that one; you have a second chance.

CMF January 2012 Newsletter - selling our inventory
Rushing into 2012 - need the storage space - will sell inventory cheap.
I know we are still in December of 2011 but as always at this time of the year, I feel an urge into stepping into the new one. In real life that does not work but in a newsletter world it is possible.

CMF December 2011 Newsletter - You Want Big! We Know Big!
In this last 2011 Newsletter I want to focus on MG's monster-sized plate rolling machines. For years MG has owned the European market and have had a very prominent presence in both Asia and the Middle East.
I think it is about time to open the eyes of the US market for the outstanding quality, durability, after-sales service and last but not least the competitive price that MG offers.

Thoughts after Fabtech 2011
The Fabtech trade show, which bills itself as North America's largest metal forming, fabricating, welding and laser event, is now behind us. The 500,000 square feet of exhibition space, 1,200 exhibitors and 30,000 expected attendees (not yet a confirmed number) made this year's show, held last week at McCormick Place, the largest ever. So, having said that, we at C Marshall Fabrication Machinery were part of creating history.

April 2011 Newsletter
Manufacturing Experts See Reasons For Optimism!
I wanted to start the April Newsletter with an optimistic note. It is obvious that something good is happening "out there". These first four (well, almost four) months of 2011 have been so much better than those of 2010; quotes are flying out the window, sales are up, there is optimism and high expectations in the market place.

Last month I introduced ERMAKSAN line for sale in my home state California and the state of Arizona where I grew up.
I also introduced you to the EZ-Seam model WT 6/14 Weld Positioner that is engineered to reduce (up to 50%) the time required to perfectly position wind tower sections prior to the welding process.
In an earlier Newsletter I brought you BENDMAK SIP and pyramid rolls and plasma burning machines as well as our rebar line of cutters and benders.
I realize that I have not given enough space for my top-selling MG brand of plate rolls (2-roll, 3-roll and angle rolls), so I will dedicate this April newsletter to MG.

C Marshall Fabrication keeps growing!
We are very pleased to announce that since adding BENDMAK single initial pinch and pyramid rolls as well as plasma burning machines last year we are now expanding our ever growing line of top quality metal working machines with new products.
As of March 1, 2011 we added ERMAKSAN as our new supplier of a full line of press brakes, shears, laser cutting and plasma burning machines, iron workers and corner notchers. ERMAKSAN has been manufacturing metal working machinery since 1965; they make annually approximately 3000 machines in their fully modernized and equipped 861000 ft2 factory. ERMAKSAN is today the largest sheet metal working machinery factory under one roof in Europe.
Especially, we are excited to introduce the EVOLUTION Hybrid Press Brake that is environmentally friendly with its minimum 60% average energy savings compared to conventional press brakes. It is also the most silent press brake in the market (63dB).
In addition to the ERMAKSAN line we are now marketing the EZ-Seam model WT 6/14 Weld Positioner (worldwide patent pending); this machine is an innovative solution specifically engineered to dramatically reduce the time required to perfectly position wind tower sections prior to the welding process. The EZ-Seam will reduce the positioning time with over 50%!
The EZ-Seam is manufactured in the US and has been in use for more than 6 years by a leading producer of Wind Towers and has only now become available to the general public.
Last but certainly not least we do of course still carry the MG plate roll line (2-roll, 3-roll, 4-roll and angle rolls) that we consider the best plate rolls on the market today. Since 1981 they have been supplying customers with plate rolls ranging in size from .020" to 10" in thickness and 20" to 30' in length.

So, we are now almost two full months into 2011. So far business has been better than in 2010; there is more interest in machines, more quotes being sent out and more sales. Those who understand the market and its up-and-downs, its pitfalls and indications are cautiously but steadily providing optimistic information about the strengthening economy and most of all, the manufacturing being"the shining star of the recovery".
